Tsunami defense

Langkawi's mangroves are getting the attention they deserve on this island, after the big tsunami hit the island in 2009.

So it is now a major tourist attraction, the Mangrove Tour. It's important for the shoreline ecology too, refuge for many wildlife and critters.
